Albizia odoratissima is a tree common in India It is also found in Bangladesh,
Myanmar, Sri Lenka and Thailand.
This plant is a member of Mimosaceae plant
family.
under shrub. It is stout and glabrous. It grows to a height of about 90 cm. The leaves
are eliptic-lanceolate.The flowers are creamy white with light purple or pink streaks within. The flowering
season is August to October.
Usage:
In Ayurveda the leaves, seeds and the roots are used for treatment of skin diseases, ulcers.

Tannin, Decatechin, and Melacacidin are obtained from this plant.
