Abutilon indicum is a plant found in many arid parts of India, It is also found in Guam Island, Nauru Island, and USA.
This plant is a member of Malvaceae plant family.
This is a perennial shrub with a height of about 200 Cm. The leaves are 15 Cm.x 15 Cm. Broadly ovate or sub orbicular, entire hairy and petiolate.
The flowers are bright yellow in color, axillary, and solitary. The flowering season are through out the year.
The seeds are reniform, blackish-brown, minutely pitted, and hairy.
Usage:
In Ayurveda the roots of this plant are used for urinary tract information. The plant is also useful in disease of bladder.
